Continental European Network on Transitions to Adulthood from Care

CENTRAC was founded at EUSARF 2023 in Brighton, UK, and the Kick-off-Meeting took place in February 2024 to facilitate exchange on care-leaving research and research-based organizational development and policymaking across Continental Europe and around the globe.

Aims and mission

  • CENTRAC is the Continental European subgroup and regional chapter of Global INTRAC
  • CENTRAC is a platform for exchange on care-leaving research beyond child and youth welfare research and out-of-home care research
  • CENTRAC is a platform for exchange on research-based organizational development and policymaking
  • CENTRAC is a platform for exchange regarding further collaboration and cooperation

Membership

CENTRAC is open to anyone who is conducting research on care-leaving and who is involved in research-based organizational development and policymaking.

The network is open to established/senior academics in the field, as well as early career researchers, postgraduate or postdoctoral students, and other stakeholders.
