INTRAC has launched a new thematic interest group focusing on care-experienced students in higher education.

Convened by Dr Neil Harrison (University of Oxford, United Kingdom) and Dr Andrew Harvey (La Trobe University, Australia), the interdisciplinary group will bring together researchers with a particular interest in care leavers and other care-experienced people who participate in higher education.

To start off with, the group will run a worldwide mailing list with the opportunity for people to share ideas and discuss findings, methodologies and good practice.

We are hoping that it will also be possible to run online events and to find other opportunities for active networking or collaborative research in due course.
